In the corridor of the hall past the toilets, is the village bookshare.  You can donate books in good condition by placing them on the lowermost, right-most, shelf so they can be noted in our log of what books we have and added to those laid out, and take a book, or books, away with you to borrow or keep.  There is no need or ability to log what books you donated or took (but leave them on lowermost, right-most shelf and do not add them directly to the display), and you don’t need a library card, as this is not a library.   Garry Anstee (g.y.anstee@gmail.com 013067

'Stay and Play' Group at Beare Green : this is for parents or carers with their children under five, running term time on Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11.30am in the main hall. 

“Taking the Lead” is our dog training club that meets Monday mornings,  and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 at Beare Green Village Hall; it is Kennel Club listed, and is run by Ruth Dunning FCPDT.  

Classes available include a Puppy Foundation Course, Puppy/Beginner and Intermediate/Adult Companion Obedience and Advanced Companion Obedience.

Volunteers are sought for village litter picking, on the first Thursday of each month starting at 12:00 at the village hall. Simple professional litter picking-up mechanical sticks (to avoid bending) and bags provided. Let’s take pride in our village!
